I think the world is a truly wondrous place. It’s harsh– it’s friendly. Sentimental. Stupid. Scary….fun? I’m still deciding. But what I do know is that the world is filled with interesting individuals who aren’t afraid to stand out. This collection serves as a testament to that statement.
Captured during early-spring to mid-fall 2024, the people (and places) in this collection stand as a defense to the ultimate weirdness that inhabits the city I am thankful to call 'home'- Portland, Maine. My complete gratitude to the public for allowing me to try my best at creating a snapshot in time of a city that is bountiful in identity. A place that is steeped with character and creativity. I can’t express enough the love I have for this project, and for the experiences that it allowed me to have. My hope is that by viewing this modest collection of photographs you can see my city in the way that I do- a way that I’m sure so many other wonderful people that live here can see as well.
